After all the great reviews, I was optimistic this would be a great fit for my workout room. Unfortunately, unless I have my head in a specific spot in the room and don't move it, it has tons of static and I constantly lose the audio. Definitely not a good fit for working out.
The sound quality was so poor that we ended up returning the product and buying something else. Nothing helped. It was really static-y. We tried new batteries, we tried moving the receiver piece. We are very happy with the one we ended up buying instead (Sennheiser RS120). But this one was terrible.
Now I leave the tv on a level that is comfortable for the rest of the family and she can hear too. I bought these for my 88yr old grandmother who is very hard of hearing but refuses to get a hearing aid. Will only work when you can see the base that is connected to the tv but she only uses them them in the living room so it has not been a problem. What a lifesaver. She can control her hearing level without making my ears bleed. It was super easy to set up and only took seconds. Dosen't come with AAA batteries so make sure you buy them.
good product, didn't know it was directional when I bought it, however since I started using it, I really like it.
Since I received my TV listeners the peace has returned to our house. Great Product. I can hear the TV even when it is muted. I can turn the volume up as loud as I need it with our bothering my wife. Thanks TV listener. Shelby, Mt.
